Порой, чтобы заставить человека что-то понять, не достаточно просто объяснить, и даже наоборот - подробные объяснения могут повредить. Необходимо осторожно подвести человека к нужному выводу, чтобы мысль пришла в голову как бы сама по себе, без помощи извне.

I don't mean manipulation of any kind, but sometimes people just won't understand the proper explanation, not until it's too late. That is why, for example, the spiritual masters of the East never reveal all the truth to their followers. The master just direct their attention to some curious facts, which they should interpret on their own.
